Brookfield High School hosted Dr. Gary Cuccia, executive director of the Demi Brae Cuccia Awareness Organization on October 22nd. Dr. Cuccia told the students the story of his daughter, Demi, who was a victim of dating violence and killed at the age of sixteen. He informed students of the signs of dating violence and the importance of reporting it. Dr. Cuccia made sure students were aware that there are options for them and they do have choices. Information pamphlets and wristbands were also made available to Brookfield Students.
