During two assemblies, over 1,300 students received Demi’s message during our teen dating violence awareness and prevention program at Gateway Senior High School on Friday, September 6, 2013. Our partners, Ladies Hospital Aid Society (LHAS) distributed their xoshove≠trulove t-shirts to every student in attendance. Due to delicate circumstances, I waited 6 years till the appropriate time to speak at Gateway. This was a bittersweet experience filled with the ultimate of mixed emotions. I have the utmost respect for Principal Bill Short and Assistant Principal Pete Murphy and thank them both immensely for the opportunity to represent my daughter Demi and share her message.
