Thursday, October 3, 2013 we visited Apollo-Ridge School District. We extend our sincere appreciation to Secretary Christine McCormick and Principal Clint Weimer for the invitation and warm welcome. During our visit there we shared our teen dating violence awareness and prevention program. Over 400 students were present to hear Dr. Gary Cuccia share his daughter Demi’s powerful message. LHAS distributed xoshove≠trulove (kiss hug shove does not equal true love) t-shirts to every student in attendance. The Demi Brae Cuccia Awareness Organization provided Demibrae.com wristbands and informational brochures. We are truly grateful to the Apollo-Ridge administration for the opportunity to share our program with their student body.
