It was our great privilege to be invited to Mohawk High School to present our Teen Dating Violence Awareness and Prevention Program, and share with the student body my daughter Demi’s powerful message. It was an inspiring and humbling experience to be in the presence of such courteous young adults. Thank you Mohawk for the respect and compassion that was displayed during our presentation – it did not go unrecognized.
We deeply appreciate the generous donation made on behalf of the school district. Your generosity will help to advance our advocacy efforts.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to Principal Raymond Omer and Jackie Dierickx, Education Outreach Supervisor of Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County, for their instrumental efforts in bringing our programming to yet another school in Lawrence County.
As I witness so many young students wipe tears from their eyes, as Demi’s tragic story unfolds on the video screen before them, I know that they have received her message, and I am hopeful that they will carry it with them…
